About Suzani

“Suzani” means needlework, from the Persian word suzan (needle). Traditional Suzani pieces feature a cotton or silk base with embroidery in basma (Bukhara couching) and chain stitch. Popular motifs include sun and moon disks, tulips, carnations, irises, pomegranates, leaves, vines, and occasional fish and birds — each piece a story woven in thread.

Sehr schöner Kissenbezug, ist bestickt (kein Druck) und sieht richtig toll aus. Wartezeit war mit Versand nach Europa bisschen länger, hat sich aber gelohnt. Hab hier nirgends eine schönen Bezug mit diesen Maßen bekommen.
