Charcoal Grey Stonewashed Kantha Quilt

About This Quilt

A premium handcrafted Kantha quilt in stylish charcoal grey stonewashed 100% cotton, hand quilted in a classic stripe pattern in white threads. The front and back are both soft cotton, with 280 gsm cotton wadding in between for a substantial yet breathable feel. Inspired by the traditional Kantha art of Bengal, each quilt is washed and ironed before dispatch.

Please note: The distressed charcoal colour is achieved through a stonewashing process. Due to the nature of stonewashing, the grey tone may vary slightly from one quilt to another.

perfect weight blanket -- light enough with a sheet for summer, and beautifully made. I chose the charcoal with lavender and it's so pretty, feels expensive and like something you would pay much, much more to get in a shop. Thank you!!

I finally received my quilt today. Was surprised and disappointed that what looked like lovely soft gray fabric online is actually black fabric with fake distressing printed on it (kind of like crackle finish on furniture) and a huge black stripe down the center of the quilt where two unlike pieces of fabric were sewn together. It looks so very odd. Luckily the reverse is white, and so it might be salvaged if I can overdye it myself. Fingers crossed. The shop owner, though running behind, was very nice. I hate to leave her a bad review, but I just don’t think the quilt is worth what I paid.

Beautifully made quilt! Super soft and nicely hemmed edges. I absolutely love the signature kantha stitching. The only thing that doesn't quite come across in the photos is the "stonewash" appearance on the gray fabric; it's a bit more pronounced than I thought it would be. But overall very happy with this purchase.
